Harvest Moon represents the end of cycle and the start of a new one. It is a time of releasing, welcoming, closure and allowing things to be complete. Biami is the creator God and sky father and this painting is my interpretation of how the leaves have fallen and the seeds on the ground are a start of a new beginning.
I am inspired by my journey as an Aboriginal woman form the Wiradjuri Nation. I am constantly returning to my heritage and culture and my artwork, in its many forms, is a constant affirmation of my identity.
