Power Up Festival

In 2024 Boomalli participated in Power Up Festival at the White Bay Power Station in Rozelle – a three day festival of local art, music and food.

The exhibition aimed to promote the talents of Boomalli’s member artists from Aboriginal language groups across NSW. The exhibition presented both emerging and established artists, coming together to pay tribute to Boomalli’s signficant legacy and our thriving artistic future.

Boomalli has been a part of the Inner West community for over 25 years. This exhibition included work by Euphemia Bostock (1936 – 2024), Dr. Bronwyn Bancroft AM, Jeffrey Samuels, and Joe Hurst (1960-2022). These artists have been trailblazers in the Inner West community and have been major contributors to the local art scene over many years – we wanted to pay tribute to them and their incredible strength.
