‘Thilli Nhaka Yanta, Parinku, Karra’. (I see true, today, tomorrow)

With so much of the majority of Koa country being taken up with some of the largest pastoral leases in the country, my work reflects on appreciating what isn’t impacted and is still accessible. This small yet significant stone tool quarry, led me into a trance like state, invigorated my appreciation of what my ancestors had mastered, leaving intriguing abstract shapes lying in the harsh ‘thuru’ (sun) and presenting themselves as works of art in my eyes.
