Ausgrid

In 2023 Ausgrid engaged Boomalli and Wiradjuri Artist, Sharon Smith to create an artwork to feature on one of their community batteries. Sharon’s artwork Looking Down on the Land is displayed on the Cabarita Community Battery and is about connecting to land and water, and listening to Elders to create a better place. The artwork is about creating connection when sharing stories and is a part of healing and helping to become one. The symbols represent men and women travelling the land and the rivers.
