Rainbow Lorikeets are a medium sized parrot, they eat nectar and pollens in the wild. They also eat soft foods such as fruits, berries, blossoms and flower buds.

In my painting the first layer that covers the whole canvas is filled with the colours of the Australian Rainbow Lorikeet.

The second layer are white Orbs that compliment the third layer of the various colours that represent the fruits and berries consumed by these small parrots.
